Hello, my name is Vera, and I am so happy you have found my blog.

Every Sunday, I share my personal insights into the church services of Relate Church and continue to blog throughout the week as I apply that message to my life. Each week when I walk out of church, I feel inspired and motivated by the message delivered. This blog is my way of reflecting upon those lessons and applying them to my life in the days to come.

For me Sunday is not just a day of the week where I get a meaningful scripture; it is a day for putting the scripture into practice. God speaks for a moment, but He teaches us for a lifetime. So, in order for myself to grab all the insights, challenges, as well as encouragement offered to me, I’ve made it a practice to journal every Sunday after the service. Writing it all helps me remain focused and gives me a guide on how to practice what I have understood.

During the week, I go back to those Sunday reflections by meditating on the spriptures and praying to help me understand the lessons that God wants to teach me. This is not always easy, but it helps me stay anchored. I hope that sharing my journey here will encourage you to do the same, to not just hear God’s Word on Sundays, but to allow it permeate your everyday life.
